Bizarre Uproar / Nicole 12 / Priest In Shit [2011] Filth

Take note that I am not a fan of the other two bands, so their reviews will be left out so I can focus more on Nicole 12.

>2. Nicole 12: Still Moment (9:25)

It’s pedophilia time, it’s pedophilia time! The track starts off with a quiet, yet rumbling, bass buildup, seen in other N12 tracks and before you know it Aspa is distortedly whispering an echo of eerie lyrics your way. With this the track now kicks into full gear, with a slowly rising piercing screech that turns into distorted bassy beat that provides a wall backdrop to the frenzy of underlying noises that fatten the track up. As the track continues the slithering atrocities weave in and out of the mangled mess of aural goodness and begins to put you in a trance, hurling you into a cold and disgusting room unable to get out. The background walls gravitate from deep earth rumbling bass tones to near screeching walls of static ridden mash. Just when you think you’ve had enough the entire track subsides into a bassed out hum, and in comes those ghastly whispering vocals from Lord Aspa. We’re nearing the 6 minute mark at this point and everything experienced so far in the track is starting to all mash into one collaborative effort faintly in the background, and with those crushingly deep bass tones you begin to feel like you’re in the clear, you’re safe from all the noise and terror, the 18 wheeler deathride is running out of gas. The track is almost over, what the fuck is going to happen next, is this madness going to subside or will I be hurled into that dark room once again? Your mind races through all the options and you begin to prepare yourself for one final onslaught and just at that second the track ends, it’s over, it is all over. One would think you would feel blessed to come out of the hell you just endured but something strange has occured, you were taken out too fast, you actually want, or need, to go back to that fucking atrocious mold covered room Mikko has manifested within you.

SHIT RATING: GOOD
